This letter has arrived from Paul Tempest:

I inherited a cigarette case via my father, that belonged to my late uncle George Harrison, who I met only a couple of times as a child in the late 1960s/early 1970s.  It has the inscription "Presented to S/L Harrison by the officers of 55 Squadron". I wish to find out more about his service in the RAF, if possible. Many thanks.

This appears to date from the Desert War era in 55 Squadron history.   Paul Tempest appears on the Member list. Please contact him if your family member served on 55 Squadron in that period.
